His Excellency the Governor of SASO, Dr. Saad bin Othman Alkasabi, sent his deepest congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz- may Allah protect him; the Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Muhammad bin Nayef; the Deputy Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad bin Salman- may Allah protect them, our wise government and the generous Saudi people, on the occasion of the eighty sixth National Day of the Kingdom, praying to Allah Almighty to perpetuate the country's security, prosperity and stability and to grant our country further progress and prosperity.
His Excellency said, "Today represents the eighty sixth National Day of our beloved Kingdom. On this day, King Abdulaziz bin Abdlrahman - may Allah rest his soul in peace- united this great entity under the Banner of Tawheed (monotheism) following the book of Allah (Holy Qur'an) and the Sunnah of His Prophet, peace be upon him. Today, our country is reminded of this pleasant memory and timeless occasion, so that generations recognize all values, concepts, sacrifices and bright efforts, which accompanied the construction of this great nation, and be reminded that the National Day represents a complete history which embodies the Kingdom's process of growth, development and building of the modern Kingdom."
Dr. Al Kasabi has mentioned a number of strategic achievements of SASO that have been achieved during the last period, thanks to God, including the first stage project to develop The National Measurement and Calibration Center (NMCC). In addition, he has mentioned the project of developing SASO reference laboratories and developing quality infrastructure and enhancing the national technical professionals to be, God willing, as arms for building and as a mainstay of development to strengthen the regional leadership of the Kingdom in all standardization activities.
He has pointed out that SASO is currently working on implementing the development initiative of the products safety system, that has been approved within the National Transformation Program in 2030. That is in order to provide more effective mechanisms to have control on the market, and limit non-conforming products and commodities with Saudi standard specifications, in cooperation with SASO's partners of relevant bodies.
The Governor of SASO has expressed his hope that Allah the Almighty sustain security and safety on the Kingdom, and grant everyone success to achieve the desired aspirations under the guidance of our wise leadership and the unlimited support for the process of development and growth taking place in our generous country.
