SASO Organizes a Training Workshop for Regularity bodies in the Eastern Region

      The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Org. (SASO) has organized a training workshop for regularity bodies in its Eastern region branch on Wednesday, 13-07-1440 AH, corresponding to 20/03/2019 in preparation for the mandatory application of IECEE certificate for lighting products, which will be effective on 01/04/2019 at entry points and local factories.

      The Director General of the Eastern region branch welcomed Eng. Tariq Hamad Abu Aisha regularity attendees and participants from the Ministry of Commerce and Investment, Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources, Saudi Customs and SASO in this workshop and stressed on its importance to introduce the products on which it is applied.

      ​The Saudi the Saudi Energy Efficiency team presented the workshop program, where Mr. Mohammad Al-Baladi explained the new energy efficiency label and various lighting products and types.​
