Makkah Branch Organizes Workshop on Biodegradable Plastic Products in Activation of (How to be a Role Model) Program 
SASO's branch in Makkah Region organized a workshop on biodegradable plastic products with the participation of a number of bodies including: the Emirate of Makkah, King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah University, and the Ministry of Commerce and Investment. It comes to activate initiatives of (How to be a Role Model) program.
The workshop presented a number of working papers dealing with the issue of plastic and mechanisms to maintain consumer safety and protection. The Director General of the branch, Mr. Mutlaq bin Raji Al-Tayyari, explained that this workshop is a continuation of the initiatives of SASO to activate (How to be a Role Model) program. The importance of the workshop lies in discussing the harms of plastic on human health and environment.
The workshop ended with a number of recommendations. It also concluded by honoring the lecturers; Dr. Magda Abu Ras, Emirate of Makkah Region; Dr. Mohammad Baashen, University of Jeddah; Dr. Samer Hadash, Ministry of Commerce and Investment, and Eng. Abdulrahman Al Majid, SASO. At the end, attendees and participants thanked the management of Makkah branch for the success of the organization and for the hospitality reception.
