Introductory workshop on NPMO's work methodology

 

      The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO), in cooperation with the National Project Management Organization- Mashroat (NPMO)- organized a workshop for the employees of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MCI) to introduce the methodology and work mechanisms of NPMO, on Sunday 12 Safar, 1440, corresponding to 21 October, 2018, at SASO's headquarters in Riyadh.

      This workshop comes within the framework of the joint efforts between SASO and MCI to integrate with all stakeholders and to keep pace with the initiatives and programs of Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Program 2020.

      NPMO is a national program aimed at supporting project management in public bodies to improve quality and efficiency. It also aims at empowering project management, operation and maintenance offices in the public sector, in addition to developing a flexible environment for project implementation, efficient operation and maintenance of facilities for maximum benefits.

      It is noteworthy that this workshop was organized in coordination with the Joint Engineering Relations Committee at MCI, which includes engineering departments at MCI, SASO, the Small & Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monshaat), the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property (SAIP), the Saudi Authority for Accredited Valuers (Taqeem) and the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA).​
