Governor of SASO: We Support Initiatives Promoting Quality in the Kingdom's Various Business Sectors
HE the Governor of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO), Dr. Saad bin Othman Al-Kasabi, patronized the annual meeting of the Saudi Quality Council (SQC) 2018. The meeting was organized by SQC on Tuesday, 29th of Muharram, 1440H, corresponding to 9th of October, 2018 in Jeddah.
In a speech delivered on his behalf by the General Director of Makkah's branch, the Governor expressed his pleasure to participate in this celebration, in the midst of a remarkable group of thinkers, opinion makers, persons interested in quality and persons who work to spread its culture and consolidate its concepts. He stressed that this presence emphasizes the importance of quality as an urgent necessity in this historic period that our generous Kingdom is passing through, under the guidance of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, and his Crown Prince, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman (may God protect them).
Dr. Al-Kasabi clarified that SASO is working hard to support all initiatives that promote and reinforce quality practices and spread its culture in the various business sectors of our Kingdom. This support translates SASO's belief in the importance of integrating and consolidating efforts and visions to reach an effective implementation of quality practices in all public and private sectors and civil society institutions, he pointed out.
At the end of the ceremony, HE Mr. Mutlaq Al-Tayari, and HE Dr. Ayed Al-Amari, Chairman of SQC, honored the winners of the Quality Award. SASO was also honored for its great support and sponsorship of the activities of SQC.
