SASO Organizes Awareness Lecture on "The Role of Quality Systems in Institutional Excellence" for SAMA Employees

​     Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) has organized a lecture under the title "The Role of Quality Systems in Institutional Excellence" for employees of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) as part of the efforts provided by the Technical and Administrative Consultancy Center, at SASO, for government sectors as to help them develop their administrative work in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

​     The lecture was delivered by the Director of the Technical and Administrative Consultancy Center at SASO, Eng. Saud bin Mohammad Al-Shabanat. Eng. Al-Shabanat addressed a number of strategic points on the importance of implementing quality management systems and highlighted their impact on improving the quality of work. During the lecture, Eng. Al-Shabanat also addressed a number of issues such as continuous improvement of organizations' performance, focus on customer satisfaction, assistance of organizations in sustainability, and risk management concepts.

     It is noted that the Technical and Administrative Consultancy Center, at SASO, provides technical and advisory support in various areas of standardization for government bodies wishing to qualify for different management systems. The main services provided by the Center are: a consultancy service to develop an integrated plan for the application of a specific standard / standards for a specific industry provided to any factory or establishment wishing to implement the proper standards, a qualification service to obtain a conformity certificate for management systems (9000, 14000, 50000, 22000, etc.), a qualification service to reach accreditation in accordance with the requirements of the international standard (17025, 17020, etc.), and a service to train and qualify small and medium enterprises on the application of management systems, regulations and standard specifications.
