SASO Organizes a Workshop (Introducing the Technical Regulation for Building Materials) in Jeddah Chamber

         SASO has organized a workshop entitled (Introducing the Technical Regulation for Building Materials) in Jeddah Chamber on Monday 23/7/1439 AH, at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Jeddah, Sheikh Saleh Al Turki Hall. A large number of quality and conformity experts and construction and building officials attended the workshop.

        The workshop discussed the mechanisms and requirements of the technical regulation for building materials in relation to the first part, which focuses on metal sectors  and construction materials, in addition to the second part, which focuses on insulation and building cladding materials for buildings.

        The importance of this workshop is that it is an opportunity for coordination and integration between different bodies to raise the level of safety and quality in relation to building and construction materials, as the technical regulation for building materials is concerned with the construction of buildings and their ability to withstand the safety of buildings and the materials they consist of.
