SASO Hosts Number of Students from Princess Nourah University
SASO has hosted a number of students from Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University (PNU). Such a move takes place in the framework of SASO's efforts to introduce standards and quality, through reviewing the mechanisms of issuing and adopting standards and technical tests, which products and commodities in SASO's laboratories are subject to.
A general lecture was given to the students about SASO's tasks in addition to its technical and legislative specialties. Saudi standards, as well as their importance, were reviewed. In addition, standards of various products were highlighted.
The students have also visited SASO's laboratories. During the visit, they were given a detailed explanation of the techniques used in the examination and the standards that are used to test any of the different products in the Saudi market.
It is noteworthy that SASO hosts a large number of university, male and female, students to introduce standardization activities and quality infrastructure's system. In addition, it helps them to get closely acquainted with technical tests that various products in the Saudi market are subject to in accordance with the requirements of Saudi standards.
