SASO has organized a three-day training program for its new employees to introduce SASO's competences and technical departments. A number of SASO's new employees attended the employee qualification program "Marhaba", which was held at the headquarters of SASO in Riyadh.

     The events of the first day began with an opening speech presented by the Director General of Human Resources, Mr. Meshal Al-Otaibi, in which he urged the new employees to make an effort and work hard, stressing that the work environment at SASO is continuously stimulating and encouraging for creativity and excellence. The first day included a number of introductory lectures to departments of Human Resources, IT, Public Relations, International Cooperation, and Strategy Office.

     The new training program, Marhaba, continued on the second day with six lectures about different fields, including; standards, laboratories, quality management, conformity sector, the National Measurement and Calibration Center and the General Administration of Certification. 

     The activities of the program concluded on the third day with field visits to SASO's various facilities, such as the General Materials Laboratory and the National Center for Measurement and Calibration (NMCC). The program included discussions with HE the Governor of SASO and several officials from SASO.

     For their part, the new employees expressed their desire to work hard and participate in achieving the strategic objectives of SASO, and continue the work process initiated by the employees of SASO in its various departments.
