His Excellency the Governor of SASO, Dr. Saad bin Othman Al Kasabi, has expressed his sincere felicitations and congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz – may Allah protect him– and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz– may Allah protect him, The Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, on the occasion of approving the largest expenditure budget through the history of the Kingdom.

     H.E stressed that the Kingdom has started quickly, praise be to Allah, to reap the benefits of the economic reforms, pointing out that approving an expansionary budget that supports the comprehensive investment in various fields confirms the long-term view of the Kingdom's financial and economic policy. He also stressed that the procedures taken by the government during the past two years have had a great effect on raising the efficiency and effectiveness of government expenditure, and sped up the steps towards creating fair economic and investment environment that empowers the private sector to contribute to the development of the country and participate in major development projects in various fields.

     Furthermore, he emphasized that the volume of expenditure in the budget for fiscal year 1439-1440 AH, exceeded local and global financial expectations and analysis, which confirms the determination of the leadership to invest resources and manage financial assets efficiently and effectively to achieve sustainable security and prosperity, especially under the generous support for the strategic development sectors in the Kingdom.

     In conclusion, Dr. Saad Al Kasabi said: I congratulate the wise leadership and the Saudi people on this budget, and  I ask Allah to make this budget brings welfare and blessings for the country and the people, bless the efforts of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Crown Prince, and sustain security and safety for our country to achieve the desired leadership.
