Delegation from KISR Visits SASO
A delegation from the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) visited SASO to review technical capabilities of SASO's laboratories and discuss cooperation between KISR and SASO in the field of research and studies. The delegation was headed by Dr. Naji Al-Mutairi, former Director General of KISR, with the participation of a number of researchers.
The visit included an inspection tour of SASO's laboratories, which included quality control laboratories such as laboratories for general materials; chemical and electrical products; and so on. Paying the visit to SASO, the delegation visited the laboratories of the National Center for Measurement and Calibration.
The delegation also discussed with H.E. Dr. Sa'ad bin Othman Al-Kasabi, Governor of SASO, enhancing cooperation between KISR and SASO in the field of scientific research and tests.
The delegation of KISR concluded its visit, to SASO, with an inspection tour of the tire laboratories, which SASO is preparing to launch soon, God willing.
For its part, the Kuwaiti delegation expressed its satisfaction with the presence of such equipment, technical resources and human capabilities in the field of measurement and testing in the Kingdom. It stressed the need to enhance cooperation between the various concerned Arab parties in order to achieve sustainable development and gain a distinguished experience at all levels.
