His Excellency the Governor of SASO, Dr. Saad bin Othman Al Kasabi, visited King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) on Tuesday, 17/03/1439, corresponding to 6/12/2017.

       The delegation was received by the Vice President for Government Affairs, Mr. Sulaiman Al-Thunayan, who welcomed the Governor and his companions. Afterwards, Dr. Al-Kasabi and his accompanying delegation went on a tour over the university laboratories, followed by a visit to the Library which is filled with scientific books. The tour resumed to the University's unique museum and its valuable monuments.

       At the end of the visit H.E. the Governor of SASO, expressed his deep gratitude for the warm welcoming. He also explained how amazed he was by the contributions and activities of this great scientific university, which shows the great support of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince in developing science and research, to achieve the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in improving human life.

       H.E. the Governor of SASO was accompanied by Deputy Governor Eng. Saud Al-Askar, Director General of Makkah's Branch Mr. Mutlaq Al-Tayari, Director General of the Eastern Province Branch, Mr. Tamis Al-Hammadi, Governor's Advisor Dr. Ahmed Shraim, and Director of NMCC Dr. Majid Al-Harithi, in addition to H.E. Director General of Information Technology Mr. Ahmad Al-Moqhim, H.E. Director General of Public Relations and Media Mr. Saad Al-Mosaihil, Deputy Director of Public Relations and Media Mr. Saad Al-Omair, H.E. Director General of Public Relations and Media at Makkah's Branch Mr. Ahmed Al-Dhaheri, and H.E. Mr. Mohammed Sahab, Secretary of SASO's Governor.​
