SASO Announces Details of the 6th National Quality Conference…This Thursday

SASO will hold a press conference, on Thursday, at its headquarters, in Riyadh, to announce the details of the 6th National Quality Conference. The conference is organized under the patronage of the Minister of Commerce and Investment and the Chairman of SASO's Board of Directors, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasabi, from Rabi Al-Awwal 10-12, 1439, corresponding to November 28-30, 2017, in Dammam, under the slogan "Quality… the path toward excellence and leadership", with the participation of quality experts from the Kingdom and abroad, in order to support and enhance the quality process in the Kingdom.
His Excellency the Deputy Governor of SASO and the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Conference, Eng. Saud bin Rashid Al Askar, said that the Sixth National Quality Conference, held in Dammam under the slogan "Quality ... the path toward excellence and leadership", is an extension of the concentrated efforts exerted by SASO in establishing the concept of quality. It stresses SASO's role in achieving excellence, in the targeted business sectors of the National Quality Strategic Project, and comes to achieve the Kingdom's Vision of "Saudi Arabia with its services and products becomes a global standard for quality and excellence by 2020". Furthermore, the conference will highlight the role of quality in enhancing the national economy, in addition to promoting the principles and methodologies of creativity and innovation, in order to improve the quality of services. It will also be a real opportunity to present pioneering experiences in the field of quality for all sectors involved.
Deputy Governor of SASO confirmed that the choice of the slogan "Quality ... the path toward excellence and leadership" as the theme of the 6th Conference comes in line with the current and future phase of the quality reality in the Kingdom, and emphasizes its role in achieving excellence and leadership in various sectors.
He pointed out that the conference will include a group of quality experts from the Kingdom and abroad. It will include reviewing international and national experiences, in addition to presenting a number of workshops, sessions and lectures. Moreover, there will be an accompanying exhibition and a quality competition. Participations from national and international experts and speakers will be presented. Being the guest of honor, one the conference's sessions will be allocated to Singapore to present "Singapore experience in quality and institutional excellence".
