SASO intensifies its preparations for the 6th National Quality Conference, which will be held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Trade and Investment, Chairman of SASO's BOD, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qassabi, from 28-30 November, 2017, in Dammam, under the slogan "Quality ... the path toward excellence and leadership."

       The conference will include 6 scientific sessions and 6 workshops, presented by 15 speakers coming from 9 countries - the United States, Singapore, South Korea, New Zealand, India, Britain, Germany, Hong Kong and the United Arab Emirates, in addition to participating Saudi speakers, academics and senior executives representing government institutions and major national companies.

       The workshops are expected to shed light on a number of topics, including; (Redefining Quality for 21st Century, Korea’s Best Practices for Quality Improvement, Foundations of Innovation Assessment, Measuring and Evaluating the Efficiency of Creative Management, Business Excellence and Saudi Vision 2030, in addition to Kaizen it and Saudi Vision 2030). The scientific sessions will address the main objectives and themes of the conference: Quality and Institutional Excellence, the Path to Saudi Vision 2030, Singapore Experience, Future Directions for Quality, Best Practices in Quality and Quality and Methodologies of Creativity and Innovation.

       Conference guests and participants will have the chance to attend 21 scientific and applied lectures on quality and organizational excellence. Singapore will be the Guest of Honor, and will review the best practices in the fields of quality and business excellence, in order to benefit participants of the conference and share them world-class experiences in this field.

       SASO is keen to provide the best possible means to achieve the desired benefit from this scientific event by diversifying the activities of the conference. The conference will allocate a specified time for a "Discussion on Quality" presented by the best speakers and leaders of public speaking clubs. In addition, there will be an accompanying exhibition which allows participating bodies to review the highlights of their programs and ideas in the field of quality and institutional excellence. 

       ​The conference aims to attract young people (Future Generation) through a workshop entitled "Quality and Future Generation", which will discuss the role of young people and the importance of adopting the concepts of quality and excellence to achieve the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030 at the current and future stage. There will be another workshop addressing the youth entitled "Kaizen it and Vision 2030".
