Cooperation Agreement Between SASO and TSE in the Field of Conformity
SASO has signed a cooperation agreement with the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE) to upgrade conformity assessment services. The agreement has been signed by Eng. Saud bin Rashid Al Askar, Deputy Governor of SASO for Quality and Conformity, and Mr. Mehmet Bozdemir, Secretary General of TSE, in the presence of a number of officials of both sides.
Eng. Saud Al-Askar stressed the keenness of SASO to activate the role of conformity services in raising the level of services provided to beneficiaries. He also pointed out that the cooperation agreement with TSE grants the Institution a partial authorization to provide conformity assessment services by granting the license to use Saudi Quality Mark in order to improve performance level by raising the quality of services provided to the beneficiary.
For his part, Mr. Mehmet Bozdemir, Secretary General of TSE, expressed pride of the Turkish side for the cooperation with SASO. Moreover, he hoped that the agreement would contribute to enhancing mutual cooperation between the two sides in the field of standardization, specifications and conformity.
