His Excellency the Governor of SASO, Dr. Saad bin Othman Al-Kasabi, patronized the annual meeting and ceremony of the Saudi Quality Council (SQC) in the presence of the Director General of the branch, Mr. Mutlaq bin Raji Al-Tayari, the competent employees of the branch, partners, and executive members of the Council , on Monday 26 Sha'ban 1438 AH, corresponding to 22 May 2017, at Jeddah Hilton Hotel.

     H.E. Dr. Saad Al-Kasabi delivered a speech on this occasion, saying that" it is my pleasure to participate with you today in the annual ceremony of the Saudi Quality Council, whose officials are obviously aware of the role of civil society organizations and authorities in supporting sustainable development plans and achieving strategic visions of countries. In addition, combining efforts among the components of societies and countries, including governmental and private bodies, and other sectors, is one of the fundamental pillars in achieving a sustainable and genuine renaissance that will shape a better future for the homeland and the citizen.

     His Excellency the Governor said that the SQC, with its various and effective programs and activities, to consolidate and stabilize the applications and practices of quality in various fields, is gratifying and brings pride and honor to have such national minds and competencies capable - God Willing- to participate us in the governmental sector in which our overall vision of quality is realistic in our various organizations, sectors, services and products. 

     H.E. Dr. Al-Kasabi affirmed that the national vision considers quality as one of the most important strategic capabilities of the national economy, with the necessary incentives and precise criteria to work in an accurate manner that meets the interests of all concerned parties. SASO is  activating its role seriously and persistently in relation to quality activities and work with its partners to spread the culture of quality and promote its practices and applications in various fields and sectors.

     Furthermore, we will continue to work hard with great diligence and dedication by cooperation with all those who have hope and vision that quality will be a way of life and a road map for sustainable renaissance in its comprehensive concept in all of industrial and service fields, and others.

     Dr. Saad Al-Kasabi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Saudi Quality Council in the Western Province for providing the country with a unique effort and thought, enriching the practical and professional life of those interested and specialized in quality. Therefore, that was reflected positively on all beneficiaries of the services of various sectors. Without a doubt, as we are accustomed to those who are highly motivated, we are always waiting for more and more for the benefit of this country.

     Thereafter, His Excellency the Governor of SASO, Dr. Saad bin Othman Al-Kasabi, honored the winner of Quality Manager Excellence Award with the award shield and a check of fifty thousand riyals. After that, HE the Governor honored Makkah Province Branch for the distinguished efforts to cooperate with (SQC) to achieve quality goals in the region, followed by the launch of the book (DEEP IN CRISIS)" The Uncertain Future of the Quality Profession" by Professor Mohamed Zairi, Executive Chairman, European Centre for Best Practice Management (ECBPM). At the end of the event, a commemorative photo was taken for the ceremony participants.
