SASO's branch in Jazan participated in the awareness exhibition that accompanied Jazan Winter Festival. The festival was held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Nasser bin Abdul Aziz, Governor of Jazan Region.

 

     SASO set up an awareness booth lasting for twelve days. It distributed more than 6,500 awareness prints it issued, which tackled a lot of information and a number of instructions on means of safety and methods of identifying products conforming to Saudi standard specifications. Among them were the service rating of automotive motor oils and specifications for school bags, tires, salvage vehicles, gas cylinders and conforming sockets and plugs. Also, the prints addressed vehicles' inspection methods, safe fluorescent lamps, trucks under-run protective devices, airbags and electrical appliances and their specifications.

    SASO's booth received considerable attention from the visitors of Jazan Winter Festival and the accompanying awareness exhibition. His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Nasser bin Abdul Aziz, Governor of  Jazan Region, visited the booth and praised SASO's honorable efforts that serve country and citizens. Moreover, the Deputy of Jazan Governor, Director of Public Security, Director General of Civil Defense, Director General of Saudi Food and Drug Authority and a number of directors and employees of government and private sectors and citizens visited SASO's booth.

      SASO's employees were keen to provide advice and guidance to the festival's visitors and introduce SASO, its role in the field of issuing technical regulations and standard specifications and its pivotal role in disseminating the culture of quality in various sectors.
