Honoring the Winning Establishments of King Abdulaziz Quality Award Next Tuesday
 


     Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud , May Allah protect him, SASO holds an honoring ceremony for winning establishments of its third round next Tuesday. On the sidelines of the ceremony, the quality and  excellence best practice forum will be held during the period Muharram 24th-25th, 1438 AH, corresponding to October 25th-26th, 2016, at Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh.

     Nine establishments have won King Abdul Aziz Quality Award at its third round, out of 50 establishments that applied online through the Award website. Three companies have won the Award for the large production establishments' sector, namely, Al-Jubail Petrochemical Company (KEMYA), Saudi Iron and Steel Company (Hadeed), and Advanced Electronics Company. The Saudi Investment Bank has won the Award for the large service establishments' sector. On the other hand, the Award was withheld in two categories:  medium-sized production establishments and medium-sized service establishments, because the applying establishments have not achieved the limit required to win the Award, according to the regulations of the Award at its third round.

     Moreover, Effat University has won the Award for the category of private higher education while Tarbya Namouthajiyah Schools has won the award for the category of private educational complexes. At last,  three health facilities have won the Award for the category of private hospitals with a capacity of more than 100 beds: Al Hammadi Hospital, Specialized Medical Center Hospital, and Dr.Soliman Fakeeh Hospital.

     ​It is noteworthy that King Abdulaziz Quality Award is a national award for quality and  organizational excellence in the Kingdom. Its vision is to be distinctive and leading at the national, regional, and global level and to achieve its goals to improve quality level in the areas of service and productivity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Moreover, the message of King Abdulaziz Quality Award is based on promoting competition through providing a general reference framework to evaluate the performance of establishments in all public and private sectors and develop them according to national standards of excellence with an international level. Also, its message targets highlighting the role of the Award in spreading concepts of quality and organizational excellence.
