Administration of SASO's branch in the Eastern Province meets representatives of security sectors in the region
The second meeting between specialists in the branch and representatives of security leaders in the Eastern Province, was held on Tuesday morning, 26/7/1437,at the headquarters of SASO's branch in the Eastern Province, to discuss the implementation of the agreement signed between SASO and Public Security. The meeting started with a speech by General Director of the branch, Mr. Tamis Al Hammadi, in which he welcomed the attendees and thanked them for their initiative and keenness on continuous cooperation and coordination to activate the agreement. That was particularly with regard to the deployment of quality culture and its different systems, the implementation of standards, personnel training, and provision of technical consultancy. He stressed SASO's keenness on supporting and assisting all sectors, to improve the quality of products and services and strive to achieve integration.
Afterwards, Colonel Ziad Al Raqaiti, Director of Public Relations and Media Department at Eastern Province Police, spoke a word in which he praised the role of SASO and its distinctive efforts in introducing the concepts of quality and its eagerness to get their message across. He gave his thanks to the branch of SASO in the Eastern Province for their prominent role, for hosting the meeting, and for organizing many important events and activities in the region.
A number of representatives of the security sectors in this meeting also talked about their aspirations for the implementation of quality systems working on the development of procedures and human resources in their sectors with the support of SASO, which is keen on activating the partnership with various bodies as part of its responsibility and competence.
It is stated that the terms of the meeting covered a number of topics, most important are; the induction program for quality, which will be presented by the branch for employees of the security sectors within an awareness plan, which its program and duration of implementation will be coordinated by the two sides. The program includes an overview of the methods and concepts of quality, an overview of the national strategy for quality (see Saudi Vision 2020) and a detailed introduction of quality management system according to ISO 9001: 2015
The delegation has exchanged, with officials of the branch, the most important steps that need to be taken to begin the implementation of this program and the implementation of the concept of quality and its regulations in every sector of the security sectors.
