SASO Hosts Preparing Lead Assessor for Quality within Laboratories Workshop
SASO hosted the events of the training course (Preparing Lead Assessor for Quality and Competence within Medical Laboratories in Accordance with International Standard " ISO15189:2012 "). The course is organized by the GSO Training Center, of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Standardization Organization (GSO), in collaboration with SASO, at SASO's headquarters in Riyadh, during the period of 17th -19th Muharram, 1436 AH, corresponding to 10th- 12th November, 2014.
The course aims at activating the bonds of gulf joint work, and providing integrated information to assist in the preparation of leading assessors for quality and competence within medical laboratories, so as to promote the nature and quality of Gulf standardization and evaluation operations.
The events of the course included a number of technical lectures and discussions, which focused on the audit process according to the quality system and standard ISO 15189. The events also included audit, analysis, research standards, definition of expected performances, definition of quality and documentation management systems.
