Dr. Al kasabi: We Welcome All Developmental Visions To Support The National Strategy For Quality
His Excellency the Governor of SASO, Dr. Saad in Othman Al kasabi, on Sunday 16 Muharram 1436 AH, corresponding to 8/11/2014, has inaugurated the events of the seventh national quality week under the slogan "to build together a world of quality ", organized by the Saudi Quality Council in the western region in cooperation with SASO at SASO's branch in Makkah.
His Excellency the Governor has confirmed that SASO is seeking, through various activities held this week, to raise quality culture and to encourage individuals and organizations to focus and pay attention to quality as an important requirement to achieve products quality and raise the level of services. Quality is also the basis of the corner to enhance the competitiveness and achieve a best satisfaction of the beneficiaries.
Dr. Al Kasabi has stressed on the need to deal with the requirements of the accelerated world in which we live to provide life requirements effectively and masterly. Without that, we cannot keep up with the tremendous developments around us and improve goods and products quality that are traded or services that are offered. He pointed out that the Kingdom participates the world in the celebration of the World Quality Day through making a variety of activities to spread the culture of quality. He is looking forward, for these events to achieve goals in the consolidation of quality concepts and principles at the national level.
His Excellency has moved to talk about the national quality strategy draft which is implemented by SASO, which aims primarily to the vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may Allah protect him - for Saudi Arabia with its products and services to be global standard for quality and perfection in 2020.
His Excellency the Governor has noted, in his speech, the informative seminars of the project set up in some cities of the Kingdom for the purpose of informing about this strategic project. He has expressed his hope to activate the constructive engagement of all sectors of the state , private sector institutions, and civil society components for achieving that strategy. In addition, he has pointed out that work is underway to hold other workshops to measure readiness for quality and institutional excellence in different sectors in the Kingdom, which will begin their activities during this month, God willing, to explain the mechanism of measuring the readiness and begin to implement it.
His Excellency the Governor of SASO has called the attendees who are interested in the activities of the quality to communicate and participate in the events organized by SASO this week, and other events. He welcomed the developmental visions and ideas that are received to build effective partnership to improve quality standards in the kingdom, expressing his thanks to the Saudi Quality Council for the ongoing efforts and initiatives to spread the culture of quality in the community and various business sectors.
