SASO Discusses Specifications and Quality Systems' Draft with the Participation of Specialists in This Field
SASO concluded today, Thursday, Rabi' al-awwal 10, 1436, corresponding to January 1,2015, a two-day workshop to discuss specifications and quality systems in Saudi Arabia, which was held under the patronage of His Excellency, the Governor of SASO, Dr. Sa'ad bin Othman Al-Kasabi.
The workshop aims at discussing the draft of specifications and quality systems, that are in progress, with a number of specialists and interested members from different relevant bodies to benefit from experience and expertise in this area in order to find systems that meet the needs and aspirations of all concerned parties.
The governor of SASO stressed, at a speech he delivered for the workshop, that these two systems are considered a key goal of many issues related to specifications as well as standardization and quality fields in the Kingdom and region, to reach a mature applicable model and achieve the desired goals. The two systems also represent an important stepping-stone to what we all want to accomplish from the existence of solid systems that push SASO forwards in achieving its various functions and specialties.
Dr. Al-Kasabi clarified that SASO was keen to hold this workshop on the basis of the importance of involving specialists from various relevant bodies in the preparation of these two systems to benefit from experience and expertise in this area in order to find systems that meet the needs and aspirations of all concerned parties.
Four panel discussions, focusing on the draft of specifications and quality systems, were held and all terms of these two systems were discussed during which. SASO hopes, of these two systems, to create a leading regional experience in this field through a complete knowledge of legal, technical, and administrative legislations, terms, requirements, rules and regulations to ensure that positive rates are reflected on the whole society and nation.
