SASO grants the General Directorate of Military Survey ISO 9001/2008 certificate

SASO granted the General Directorate of Military Survey ISO 9001/2008 certificate after they satisfy the standards and requirements of the quality management system according to the Saudi International standard, and conduct audits and verification to confirm ISO performance requirements .
The Major General Eng. Ali Al-Omran received the certificate on behalf of staff Major General Eng. Abdullah Al-Arini , the General Director of the General Directorate of Military Survey. That was during the ceremony prepared for this occasion at the headquarters of SASO in Riyadh on Sunday, 20/03/1436 AH, corresponding to 10 January 2015.
His Excellency Dr. Saad bin Othman Al-Kasabi, SASO Governor, handed over the certificate , who explained that SASO grants ISO "2008/9001" quality management system certificates for all government and private agencies in the various productive and service sectors. He explained that the system is processes , procedures and instructions for work documented and approved ,as well as setting a quality policy and be reported to all employees of establishments. In addition, there is delegation of powers, resources management in the best style, applying documented procedures to adjust the records and focus on customer satisfaction.
The Governor of SASO clarified that, benefits of agencies obtaining this certificates are to ensure continuous improvement of administrative performance, assist in rationalization and resource conservation , as well as to improve the performance of suppliers.
Adding that, there are many benefits to the workers in the certified establishments , such as (getting awareness and fixed understanding of quality applications at all levels in the establishment, developing quality awareness, strengthening consumer confidence in the establishment, improving profitability with lower costs, and raising staff efficiency), calling all government and private agencies to apply for this certificate from SASO and achieve the benefits resultant.
ISO 9001 (Quality management systems - General requirements) is the standard issued by the International Organization for Standardization ISO, based in Geneva, where the registration of the system means that the establishment has achieved the requirements of this standard. ISO was established in 1946, a global union non-profit, based in Geneva and actually began in 1947, with a membership of 165 national standards bodies.
