SASO's Training Center Launches Its First Training Program in the Quality Field
On Sunday, Rabi' al-awwal 13, 1436, corresponding to January 4, 2015, SASO launched its first training program organized by its training center for 2015, entitled "Requirements for Quality Management System of ISO 9001". The program will last for a week, at the center located at SASO's headquarter in Riyadh.
The establishment of this center comes from SASO to spread, root and promote the culture of quality within government bodies and private sector. This contributes to increasing the effectiveness of performance to improve services provided to citizens, measuring institutional excellence, and promoting national products.
The training program aims at enabling participants to precisely know and understand the specifications series of ISO 9000 and the requirements of ISO 9001: 2008 and their role in the development of quality and performance of the organization's activities. The program also intends to give participants the ability to plan and manage the business of an organization in the form of quality operations according to a list of system requirements. Further, it aims at making participants understand the requirements of quality operations' approach and implement them effectively to achieve quality goals. In addition, the program seeks to reach the desired results to contribute to the application of this system within the organization, analyze results, and make continuous improvements. Steps and stages to obtain certificates of conformity for quality management systems will be reviewed.
This program targets people who are interested and concerned in the application of the international standard ISO 9001. It also targets people who wish to obtain the necessary skills to review quality management systems, department managers and supervisors, employees in quality departments, and all those responsible for the application of quality management system.
