Governor of SASO honors the team members of the development of the National Metrology and Calibration Center (NMCC) laboratories



     His Excellency the Governor of SASO, Dr. Saad bin Othman Al Kasabi, has expressed his thanks and appreciation to the members of the development team of the National Metrology and Calibration Center (NMCC)Labs for their outstanding efforts. Those efforts are made by the team in the preparation and accomplishment of the development program of laboratories of the center in collaboration with the National Metrology Institute (UME) in Republic of Turkey. That refers to the advanced technical and vocational level of the members of those teams.

      The Governor of SASO has valued the team members efforts - on the sidelines of honor ceremony which was held on this occasion- for the success of the project, and asked them to greater effort and work in order to achieve the mission and objectives of SASO. He has noted that this country's excellence and development will be achieved only by its people efforts of qualified national cadres, stressing that achievement in work is a national duty for everyone. The governor has urged SASO's employees  to make more efforts and hard work to promote development process forward in our dear Kingdom.

     For their part, members of the team have confirmed their intention to proceed forward with doing the functional and national role assigned to them, and to contribute to the development process of this generous country. The honorees have expressed their happiness and gratitude for the honor by His Excellency the Governor, considering it a strong impetus for further work and production.

      The Minister of Commerce and Industry, Chairman of SASO's Board of Directors, has signed a contract of implementation of a development program for the National Metrology and Calibration Center (NMCC)Labs of SASO, with the National Metrology Institute(UME)  ,in Turkey. That was on Thursday, 03/06/1435 AH, corresponding to 03/04/2014, where the contract included the development of (26) laboratories in various calibration fields, including (physical, mechanical, electrical, power, mass, etc.). That was  in order to provide all the National Metrology and Calibration Center laboratories with the latest measurement and calibration sophisticated systems that lead to achieve the most accurate measurement and calibration levels.
