SASO Participates in the Twenty-Third Environmental Health Meeting in the Eastern Province
SASO's branch in the Eastern Province has participated in the activities and accompanying exhibition of the twenty-third meeting for directors of environmental health and municipalities. The meeting was hosted by the Eastern Amana under the slogan "Our food and our environment … our responsibility", under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, Eng. Abdullatif Alashaikh, during the period 12-16/3/1436 AH corresponding to 03-07/01/2015.
SASO has participated along with more than 14 government and private establishments and sectors concerned with environmental protection in the Eastern Province. The events of this meeting included a presentation of a work paper about SASO's role in the field of environmental protection, presented by Mr. Abdulrahman bin Ibrahim Alahedib. During his presentation, he highlighted the outstanding efforts made by SASO to provide a safer and more secure environment for everyone.
His Excellency Eng. Fahad Aljubair has opened the activities of the meeting and the accompanying exhibition, with the presence of the Deputy Minister of Municipal Affairs at the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs, Eng. Yousef Alsaif. SASO's booth has appealed to the visitors. Also, His Excellency Eng. Aljubair and the accompanying delegation has listened to a brief explanation about SASO efforts in this regard presented by His Excellency the Director General of SASO in the Eastern Province branch, Mr. Tamis Alhammadi. In the explanation, Mr. Alhammadi pointed out the duties of SASO and its role in raising awareness and improving the quality of products and services. He also confirmed the importance of having partnerships with the concerned authorities, including the municipal sector.
In this exhibition, SASO's branch in the Eastern Province has followed a new method of communication between beneficiaries and specialists through the use SKYPE. This was a great success, has given a great impression about SASO and has highly appealed to officials and visitors.
