SASO began to activate its first initiatives cooperation between them and the Saudi Electricity Company for the deployment of quality standards in various regions of the Kingdom, where SASO has organized an awareness day in the electricity company in Jeddah. It was attended by a number of officials and employees of the company as well as a number of sectors managers and director of continuous improvement department. 

      Where SASO indicated its central role in the activation and deployment of applications and quality standards to the employees of the electricity company. During those events, SASO emphasized the adoption of the strategic vision of quality in the kingdom and launched by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz - Allah have mercy on him- the Kingdom with its products and services to be a global standard of quality and accuracy.

       The Director of  Development of quality system in SASO at Makkah branch, Mr. Fahad Mohammad Ali Al Jadaani  gave a lecture discussing  the importance of mechanisms to promote the culture of quality. The Director of Quality Control,  Mr. Abdulabasit Abdulhakim Khan indicated SASO initiatives in this respect, also Mr. Saud bin Mohammad Al Shabanat, Director of quality management systems in SASO, highlighted on quality management systems certificates  ISO 9001/2008. 

    The day's activities were concluded with an open‎ seminar which the participants discussed some of the issues raised in SASO's  officials lectures, as well as with regard to SASO's functions and roles in the consumer protection.

         It is referred that SASO is currently working on activating the social partnerships with various government and private sectors to promote and spread the quality culture in all fields, in which it organizes such meetings regularly for consolidating these concepts for different institutions.
