SASO Hosts The Training Program " Lead Assessor- The Competence of Providers of Proficiency Testing Schemes"
SASO hosts over five days at its headquarters in Riyadh a training program under the title " Lead Assessor- The Competence of Providers of Proficiency Testing Schemes in accordance with the international standard ISO / IEC 17043 and ISO 13528: 2015 ". It was during the period from Sunday to Thursday 16-20 Jumada II 1436 AH, corresponding to 5-9 April 2015, and organized by the Standardization Organization of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
This course is a comprehensive look to Proficiency Testing (PT),in addition to the requirements of the International Standards for PT ISO/IEC 17043 and ISO 13528.
The course also includes an overview of the accreditation process, including how to achieve accreditation for proficiency testing in addition to accreditations related to ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO Guide 34. The course focuses on providing the required skills to the Lead Assessor .
The Course aims to raise awareness about PT to the staff of GCC standardization bodies, and provide participants with the requirements and procedures accepted for the tests. In addition, providing skills required for the Lead Assessor in accordance with the international standard ISO / IEC 17043: 2004 and ISO 13528: 2015.
It is expected that trainees in that course acquire a specialized technical experience , as a result of what will be presented to them of applications and trainings during the course, with the daily assessment of the participants and measuring the level of progress in the acquisition of skills. They also will be able to communicate with the consultants team seven days a week to inquire and ask questions regarding the subject of the course.
