SASO and Public Security Discuss Activating the Cooperation Agreement in the Eastern Province
The Director General of SASO at Dammam branch, Mr. Tamis bin Ali Al-Hammadi, and the Director of Security Patrols in the Eastern Province, Colonel Nayef bin Menawer Al-Otaibi, discussed ways and mechanisms of activating the partnership and cooperation agreement, concluded between SASO and Public Security, about supporting and promoting quality and deploying its applications.
SASO's branch in Dammam received a delegation of security patrols in the Eastern Province, headed by Colonel Nayef bin Menawer Al-Otaibi. At the beginning, the director general of SASO, at Dammam branch, welcomed the Colonel and attendees and thanked them for the visit, saying it reflects the keenness of security patrols in the region to enhance cooperation and continuous coordination by setting necessary plans to spread the culture of quality and its different systems, deploy the application of standards, support scientific research, provide technical advice, hold workshops and training courses, as well as examine vehicles, machinery, materials and security and technical equipment. This leads to the improvement of activities and services provided by security patrols, as one of the public security sectors. Mr. Al-Hammadi stressed, during the meeting with the delegation, on the keenness of SASO's Governor and staff to activate the institutional partnership with all different bodies to carry out the vital and important role of SASO in the Kingdom.
For his part, Colonel Nayef bin Menawer Al-Otaibi thanked SASO and Dammam branch for caring about what serves the interests of those bodies and enhances the integrity of services, provided to citizens and that contribute in serving homeland and enhancing its security and stability. He stressed that this agreement will serve as a roadmap for joint cooperation between both sides, expressing his hope that coordination, to put this agreement into effect, will continue and be followed up.
His Excellency the Governor of SASO, Dr. Sa'ad bin Othman Al-Kasabi, and HE Director of Public Security Lt. Gen. Othman bin Nasser AL-Mahrej have signed a partnership agreement last month between SASO and Public Security to activate the means of cooperation between the two sides in implementing quality systems', working on the deployment of their applications, continuous developing of services and raising the level of performance.
