SASO and Ministry of Commerce and Industry Discuss Ways to Strengthen Joint Inspection Teams in the Eastern Province
Mr. Tams bin Ali Al Hammadi, Director General of SASO's Eastern Province branch, and Mr. Mohammed Saad Al Abdullatif, Director General of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry's branch in the Eastern Province, have both discussed the mechanisms and ways to support the work of the joint inspection and control teams from both sides. In addition, they have discussed laying solutions for the notices facing those teams during practicing their supervisory tasks to factories and markets in the Eastern Province. This came during a visit made by the Director General of the Ministry of Commerce to SASO's branch in the Eastern Province.
For his part, Al-Hammadi has praised the successful cooperation between the Ministry and SASO in different regions of the Kingdom, stressing that there is great interest on regular meetings, to exchange views and discuss ways of supporting joint technical and inspectional actions.
He also explained that he has viewed all the common notices and procedures based on the inspection teams' observations , during a meeting with the Director General of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in the Eastern Province. In addition, they have discussed the procedures for samples which are forwarded to the laboratories of SASO.
He has also mentioned that the two sides have agreed on the need to continue the joint coordination and make appropriate solutions to address the problems that may face the teams.
For his part, the Director General of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry's branch in the Eastern Province, Mr. Mohammed Saad Al Abdullatif has thanked the employees of SASO's branch for this successful meeting. He also expressed his complete readiness and cooperation to provide everything that serves the consumer, contributes to his protection, works to develop and facilitate the procedures that raise the quality level of service provided to the citizen, and fulfills the country's interests.
