NIC Delegation Visits SASO Branch in Makkah to Obtain ISO 9001
A delegation of the National Information Center (NIC) branch in Jeddah visited the headquarter of SASO in Makkah on Monday, Jumada al-Akhira 3rd, 1436 AH, corresponding to March 23rd, 2015.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Mutlaq bin Raji AlTayari, the General Manager of SASO's branch in Makkah welcomed the NIC delegation, indicating the cooperation between SASO and NIC in the field of quality which is considered the best means for improving performance and increasing productivity at work.
After that, the NIC delegation watched an introductory film about SASO, followed by an explanation about ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, the procedures for obtaining ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems certification from SASO and the application forms used for obtaining the certification. The visit was concluded by a discussion session resulted in some recommendations that strengthen cooperation between the two parties.
The delegation also visited the laboratories of SASO's branch, including Electrical Products Laboratory, Ceramic Testing Unit, Chemical Products Laboratory, Children's Toys Testing Unit and Sanitary Ware Testing Unit.
At the end of the visit, the delegation of NIC branch in Jeddah thanked the General Manager of SASO's branch in Makkah, Mr. Mutlaq AlTayari, for giving them the opportunity to visit SASO's branch in Makkah and for the good reception they had, expressing their admiration for this visit and for SASO's cooperation with them to obtain ISO 9001 certification.
