"SASO" Participates in the First Saudi Elevators and Escalators Exhibition
SASO participated in the activities of the first Saudi exhibition for elevators, escalators, warehouses and storage, which was held during the period from 24th -26th Safar,1437 AH, corresponding to 6th – 8th December, 2015, at the Riyadh International Exhibition Center.
SASO's participation came as part of its awareness approach towards the deployment of quality culture, in the community, and the importance of the application of standards and technical regulations in general, elevators, escalators, warehouses and other themes related to security and safety, in particular.
The exhibition is the first of its kind to consider this field. It comes under the framework of the General Directorate of Civil Defense to follow up all procedures and requirements of security and safety in the field of elevators, escalators, warehouses, storage, and all construction work in government projects and the private sector.
The exhibition was accompanied by organizing workshops, seminars and lectures, presented by a group of experts and specialists in the field of safety systems and modern technical developments in the field of elevators, escalators, storage and warehouses.
SASO cares about enhancing consumer safety in this field through safety means, provided under Saudi standards and technical regulations for elevators. Multiple workshops are held to define standards and explain their content to specialists and people interested in them.
