Under the Patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.. SASO Organizes the 5th Quality Conference at the End of Dhu al-Hijjah in Riyadh
Under the noble patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization organizes the Fifth National Quality Conference during the period 30th of Dhu al-Hijjah 1436 – 2nd Of Muharram 1437 H., corresponding to 13th -15th of October 2015, under the slogan" Quality .. a strategic choice for promoting sustainability and enhancing competitiveness" at King Faisal Conference Hall in Riyadh InterContinental Hotel.
This conference comes from SASO's continuous efforts to root quality concepts and applications in the targeted business sectors of the national strategy project for quality and to achieve the royal vision launched by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, which is to make" Saudi products and services a global standard for quality and excellence by 2020".
For his part, his Excellency Dr. Tawfiq bin Fowzan Al-Rabiah, Minister of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of the Board of the Directors of SASO, expressed his deepest gratitude and thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his unlimited support for the efforts of SASO in activating the strategic projects for quality in education, health, and services sectors as well as civil society and others. He also pointed out that the king's support for this conference reflects the attention attached by the governors to quality systems and their applications . It also reflects their attention to achieve the highest commitment to quality in different business sectors in the Kingdom.
Dr. Saad bin Othman Al Qasabi, the Governor of SASO, expressed his confidence that this conference introduces an opportunity to exchange views, to stand on the reality of quality and its practices in the Kingdom's sectors as well as to access relevant international experiences in this field.
Dr. Al Qasabi noted that this conference will witness many distinctive participations by a number of national and international speakers and specialists in all fields, pointing out that SASO's goal from holding this conference is to spread the culture of quality and organizational excellence in society and different business sectors, to emphasize the importance of quality and organizational excellence and review their role in achieving sustainability in all life aspects, and to shed light on the national strategy for quality and its role in strengthening the competitive capacities of national products and services.
SASO will make sure to present success stories of the best national and international practices in the field of quality in the key business sectors and to present them to the Saudi society. In addition, it will enhance the role of concepts and programs of creativity and innovation in the continuous improvement of national products and services.
