The electrical impedance laboratory at the National Measurement and Calibration Center (NMCC) obtained the metrological attribution of the measurement results to the SI units, following the successful participation of SASO represented by NMCC in the bilateral comparison between the International Bureau of Weights and Measures (BIPM) and the electrical impedance laboratory and NMCC in the field of Range capacitance measurement (10pF and 100pF).

The results obtained by the laboratory showed a convergence in the reference values of the laboratories of the International Bureau in both ranges. The results also demonstrated the efficiency of the laboratories of NMCC in the field of measuring capacitance.

SASO indicated that this achievement reflects the high levels of confidence, equipment and technical competence of the human staff working for NMCC, and a true reflection of SASO's endeavor to achieve reference and leadership at the national, regional and international levels.
