In conjunction with the International Day for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, SASO is organizing a remote awareness lecture titled: Saber platform and its impact on medium and small enterprises, on next Saturday 6 Dhu al-Qa'dah 1441 AH corresponding to June 27, 2020 AD, during the period from 3:30 pm to 5 pm.
SASO revealed that the lecture comes as part of its efforts to support small and medium enterprises in raising awareness of the importance of applying the Saudi standard specifications. Also for owners of small and medium enterprises, and the role of applying these specifications in raising the efficiency of institutions and companies, and how to verify the conformity of product to the international standard specifications. As the international standard specifications are considered the basic portal for granting confidence in product quality and qualification for access to global markets.
It is noteworthy that "Saber" electronic platform facilitates access for beneficiaries to access conformity assessment bodies accepted by the "Standards and Metrology Authority" around the world to examine products and issue Conformity Assessment Certificates electronically in addition to facilitating and accelerating the procedures for products to access the Saudi market.
