Description

This document specifies a vibration test code for measuring handle vibration in portable, hand-held, internal-combustion-engine-powered forest and garden machinery (e.g., chain-saws, trimmers, pruners, blowers). Tests, though artificial, indicate real-use vibration levels and allow manufacturers to verify efforts in low-vibration design under standardized conditions.
