At the heart of our commitment to consumer safety and quality of life stands the Monitoring and Alert Center for Unsafe Products, serving as a formidable fortress against risks. This pioneering center was established by the decision of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO), No. (165) dated 21/10/1439 AH, and is considered a fundamental pillar in achieving the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
We tirelessly work to build a robust network of cooperation between national entities, enabling us to swiftly and effectively exchange vital information about unsafe products that go beyond food and medicine. Our goal is not only to reduce the spread of these products but also to enhance public awareness of potential risks.
Our Objectives:
1. Monitoring Unsafe Products:
- Tracking and monitoring products that pose health and safety risks.
- This includes non-food and non-pharmaceutical products.
2. Information Exchange:
- Facilitating communication among concerned entities to exchange information about unsafe products.
- Raising recommendations regarding these products to take appropriate actions.
3. Public Awareness:
- Aiming to spread awareness among consumers about the dangers of these products by clarifying specific safety information.
- Alerting about unsafe products on the external page of the Rasid electronic system.
