SASO provides a licensing service for using of energy efficiency labels for products subject to the general technical regulation for energy consumption efficiency, with the aim to rationalize consumption, preserve national resources, and enhance the economy. The requirements of the general technical regulation for energy consumption efficiency are applied, along with the administrative procedures for the products covered by the regulation.
Objectives of Efficiency Labels:
• Reduce energy consumption for the consumer.
• Enable the consumer to know the product's efficiency before purchasing.
• Maintain the safety and health of the consumer and the safety of the environment.
