SASO and its Australian counterpart looked the means of increasing the cooperation in the field of standard specification.
The Governor H.E Dr. Saad Ibn Othman Al-Qasabi headed the delegation, in a virtual meeting with chief executive officer of Australian Standards organization, Mr. Adrian Ocronail , with the participants from both sides.
The two sides reviewed the most important activities and services provided by the two sides, and discussed strengthening cooperation and partnership between them in the various fields of standardization and the importance of work and coordination in the activities of relevant international organizations such as the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Committee (IEC) and contributing to the development of work in these organizations according to best practices.
In addition, it is been agreed to coordinate and define aspects of cooperation and partnership between the two sides, and to hold periodic meetings in the future between the two sides to serve the strategic interests and interests of both countries.
