The National Measurement and Calibration Center NMCC published (7) Saudi scientific papers the International Bureau of Weights and Measures (BIPM), about two papers for the power laboratory, pressure laboratory, mass laboratory in addition to one scientific paper for the gravity laboratory.

The publication of these papers comes after the participation of the NMCC in a large number of international comparisons organized by the International Bureau of Weights and Measures (BIPM) and regional metrology organizations such as European Association of National Metrology Institutes (EURAMET), The Asia Pacific Metrology Programme (APMP)) and the National Metrology Institutions of the Countries of Central and Eastern Europe (COOMET).

These comparisons aim to prove the merit of the National Metrology Institutes in preserving the metrological characteristics of the national measurement standards they maintain and using them in calibrating reference standards in private and public laboratories to provide them with the metrological attribution of the results of their measurements to the units of the International System (SI). The results of these comparisons are also published on the website of the International Bureau to make them available to the world for their perusal and knowledge of the state of attribution in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other countries when needed in trade exchange between countries.

The International Bureau of Weights and Measures also publishes the results of comparisons as research papers in its scientific journal Metrology which is a high-level scientific journal that is viewed by experts in metrology and calibration and those interested in it in the world, because the results of these research provide confidence in the metrological research capabilities of countries among interested parties.

It is noteworthy that only institutes that have acquired a great level of experience and whose employees have reached international technical and scientific levels can publish in Metrology magazine.
